While working on my first blog Pleurothallidinae, I was delighted to find out that I could put a photo in any blog entry and that by clicking on it, a new window would open with that photo or image at a much larger size [or size of original photo uploaded].
But then I ran into a problem, which I found seriously annoying and spent ages trying to fix: images were not being opened up in a new window. I actually ended up linking my photos in my 2nd blog post to [bigger] photos in my Photobucket Album. More information on various problems including the one I've mentioned can be found if you search Blogger Help.
I think I've discovered how to fix my problem using html. I know some basics of html and I noticed that after uploading an image or photo if I moved it the html changes.
So I copied the html relevant to the image [pasted it into a Netscape Composer window page just in case], moved the image and then pasted the original html back in over the changed html and it restored the original 'open in a new window' properties.
Seems to work.
